Hit. Block. Skate. Rainier

Action so close, you can feel the bruises

Rainier Roller Riot is a small competitive roller derby league that believes all is possible with a little elbow grease, an amazing support system, and loyal fans.

The Rainier Roller Riot (RRR) are a WFTDA flat track roller derby league based out of West Seattle, Washington. We are a small competitive travel team made of active skaters, retired skaters and volunteers. We believe all is possible with a little elbow grease, an amazing support system, and loyal fans.

In August 2011, a group of Puget Sound skaters spent the weekend camping, skating, and dreaming of an ideal league situation. September 1st, 2011 Rainier Roller Girls opened its doors as an official non-profit amateur sports league. To better align with our values of gender inclusivity, in September 2019, Rainier Roller Girls claimed a new name, Rainier Roller Riot!

Today, Rainier Roller Riot is a full WFTDA member. We are a skater-operated league providing a safe place to be a part of a competitive athletic program. We focus on fitness, mental game, and fun for both the skater and fans. We aim to provide a positive impact in both the roller derby and Seattle communities.

Rainier Roller Riot would be nothing without the support of our officials and volunteers. They are a tremendous part of our league, not only on bout days but also training and managing the league.
